How early should I arrive to a lesson?Arrive up to 15 minutes early.

I don't have any boots, do I need to go purchase a pair right away?No. Let's see how things go first, then if you think horseback riding is something you want to stick with, we'd then encourage you to explore some boot options. In the meantime, wear a narrow closed toe shoe.

Can I bring the horses treats?Yes. Wait until your lesson concludes to feed them to your lesson horse.

Is there any paperwork I have to sign?Yes. You will be asked to fill out a liability release form and a horse riding agreement.

Are helmets mandatory?No. Unless you're under 18 years old. It's never a bad idea to use one even if you are over 18.

What happens if it starts raining?We're always happy to make accommodations. We can reschedule for another day, or even extend an existing lesson if your previous one was cut short.

If my mare doesn't get pregnant from breeding, am I entitled to a refund?If your mare doesn't get pregnant, bring her back and we'll try again through the next breeding season.

I want to breed my mare, is your stallion registered?Yes. Our stallion is registered with the APHA.
